Homes & open land
Comfortable, energy-efficient family homes with natural surroundings, gardens and open space.
Our Community & Essential Skills
HAVEN is not only a self-sufficient settlement and an underground refuge. It is a community with the knowledge, experience and practical skills to keep operating independently through prolonged crises.
50 residents
Future expansion toward 100–150 residents. This is an illustrative demographic target, not a required family composition.
Community Life
The refuge is an extra layer of resilience. It is not the reason HAVEN exists. The community is designed to be somewhere families genuinely enjoy living, working and growing up.
Comfortable, energy-efficient family homes with natural surroundings, gardens and open space.
Farming, greenhouses, workshops and food processing: meaningful work that keeps the community running.
Education for children, skills training for adults, and time for sport, walks and play.
A commons, shared kitchen and gathering places for meals, meetings, celebrations and seasonal events.
Independent energy, networks and repair skills, owned and understood by the people who use them.
Families and professionals cooperating to care for the land, water and soil over generations.
Essential Professions
The skills a small, independent community needs to stay healthy, fed, powered, safe and well run. These are provisional recruitment targets that may change after operational feasibility studies.

Recruitment Philosophy
Selection looks at the whole person and the whole community. Professional targets guide the overall balance; they are not absolute admission requirements.
What you know and can do, in your main field and beyond it.
The ability to work with others and resolve conflicts constructively.
Openness to new skills and to taking part in community life.
A genuine intention to build and stay with the project over many years.
The overall mix of professions, ages and family needs.
Professional Founding Member
Some essential specialists may not have the resources to contribute the full construction cost. HAVEN intends to explore subsidized or sponsored memberships for qualified professionals whose expertise is essential to the community’s resilience.
These are proposals. They are not available membership offers, and no financial benefit is guaranteed.

Every registered adult member aged 18 or older has exactly one vote, regardless of:
Expertise gives no extra votes. Qualified personnel do keep operational authority over safety-critical technical decisions, under established procedures. How governance works
