Who we are

What we collect
- Your name and email address
- Details you choose to share: country of residence, number of adults and children who may join, and your message
- If you send a skills application: your professional field, profession, years of experience, qualifications, secondary skills, membership interest and willingness to relocate
- Your type of interest and the time you gave consent
- Approximate country derived from your connection (not your IP address, which we do not store)
We do not ask for health information or other special categories of personal data. Please don’t include them in free-text fields.
Why we use it
To send you project updates, to contact you about the founding community and, for skills applications, to plan the community’s mix of skills. Registering interest does not reserve a place or create any financial commitment. Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who can see it
Only the HAVEN team. Data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, under its data processing terms. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it, or at most 24 months after our last contact with you.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and object to or restrict its use, by writing to us at [privacy contact to be added]. You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
