Autonomy
Energy, water, food and essential skills produced on site, gradually reducing dependence on systems the community can’t control.
The Vision
The objective is not to wait out a crisis inside a bunker. It is to establish a functioning, independent community that can support its residents for extended periods without relying heavily on outside infrastructure, and that is a good place to live in ordinary times.
Planning for these scenarios does not mean expecting them. It means a community does not have to depend on luck.
Disruption to energy, trade and travel, near or far from home.
Cyberattacks, large-scale automation failures and loss of digital services.
Periods of social instability or violence in surrounding areas.
Extended outages of power, food supply, water and transport.
Floods, storms, drought and other prolonged emergencies.

A professionally engineered underground refuge, held in reserve for periods when the surface may be unsafe.
Governed by its members: every adult has exactly one vote, regardless of how much they contribute.
